I’m Chris Ramsay, the wedding planner behind Well Chosen Weddings. I’ve spent more than 35 years working in the wedding and hospitality industry, and I’ve learned that planning a wedding is about much more than choosing pretty colors, finding the perfect dress, or creating a beautiful Pinterest board.

It’s about knowing what needs to happen, when it needs to happen, and how to make good decisions without letting the process become overwhelming.

That’s why I created Well Chosen Weddings.

My advice comes from years of real-world experience, not just from researching what is trending online.

I have a BS in Hospitality Management and have spent all of my career working in the hospitality industry, including experience with country clubs and high-end hotels.

Over the years, I’ve been involved with the many details that make events successful, from organization and timelines to guest experiences and the countless small decisions that couples have to make along the way.

After more than three decades in the industry, I’ve seen what works, what creates unnecessary stress, and where couples can easily spend more money than they need to.

I use that experience to create practical wedding planning advice that couples can actually use.
